01 / We Are All Fading

Style is the story.

Faceless figures dressed in a century of fashion. The clothes tell you who they were.

02 / From the hardwood

He played for the Clippers.

Then China, Lebanon, Venezuela and Italy. The studio is where he came home.

03 / After hours

Smoky rooms. Long nights.

The Prohibition scenes: crowded bars, piano men and the bartender who saw everything.

04 / Color first

Translucent color, unorthodox marks.

Trained in color theory at New York's High School for Art and Design.

EVANESCENCE
We Are All Still Fading

Nov 14 to Dec 6, 2026 · 115 S. 13th Street, Philadelphia

The new series walks through generations of style, from the tailored 1910s and the glamour of the 1920s to the cool of the 1960s, with larger canvases and a wider range of color than before. It closes on two icons of the city: Rocky Balboa and LeBron James.

His 2025 debut at the gallery, WE ARE ALL FADING, sold out, according to Morton Contemporary.

to brush strokes.

  1. The start

Born in New York to Caribbean parents, raised in Far Rockaway. Studied color theory and technique at the High School for Art and Design. Art was his first love.

  2. College

San Jacinto, Stony Brook, then York College in Queens, where he set the school records for blocks in a season (193) and in a single game (14).

  3. 2001

Signed by the Los Angeles Clippers. That same year he was picked sixth in the first-ever NBA Development League draft and starred in ESPN's Down Low: Life in the D-League.

  4. Abroad

Years of pro basketball in China, Lebanon, Venezuela and Italy. Every city went into the work as a cosmopolitan rhythm.

  5. Now

Back in the studio full time. He brings the same discipline and kinetic energy to the canvas that defined his game.
